How long does a property viewing take?

In general, viewings are booked for 30-minutes, or in hourly slots. On occasions, viewings may take a few minutes longer than planned.

Will I receive an additional payment if a viewing overruns?

Some viewings may overrun by 5-10 minutes and we would not look to pay an additional fee for this (as many viewings will also only take 15-20 minutes). Clients will look to the Viewber to control the viewing and ensure appointments run to schedule. If there are signs that the viewing will exceed an additional 10-minutes and the applicants are refusing to leave, then our Viewbers are requested to telephone the client for advice.

How many viewings will I be asked to undertake?

As many as you're happy to take on that have been offered to you - we are getting busier every day.

How do I learn about a property before I do a viewing?

Wherever possible, we ask our Viewbers to arrive at the property early to familiarise themselves with the layout. We also ask our Clients to provide a link to the property information and to provide any notes that you need to be made aware of too. It is essential that you read this information prior to the applicants arriving at the property.

How will I gain access to the property?

Usually, there will be a key safe installed at the property, however, you may also be asked to collect keys from a collection point, or you may be requested to be a key holder. On occasions, the property owner themselves will provide access.

  • "I have taken up another employment opportunity and as a consequence will no longer be available for viewings. I have really enjoyed my role with Viewber and write this e-mail with a heavy heart. However I would like to thank you for allowing me to work for your company and will take the opportunity to promote it with friends and colleagues. "

    Ian G

    - Former Viewber

  • "I'm retired, and love my relaxed lifestyle, but sometimes miss the vibrancy of the working world. Being a Viewber gives me the best of both worlds - I have lots of free time, but I still feel that I have a purpose in life, and I get to meet new people all the time, and I'm my own boss. And Viewbers staff are fantastic. They're lovely people, and very supportive. "

    Kathleen (Retired Police Officer)

    - Viewber

  • "I love being a Viewber because it allows you the flexibility to work when it suits you. As a Viewber, this job affords more variety in terms of properties to show and people to meet, meaning each appointment is exciting and new. Whether on an hourly basis or an all day booking, the salary earned is generous. "
