We manage a portfolio of around 1,500 residential units across England and Wales for mainly corporate clients. We may not be your biggest client but we might be at the top of the table when it comes to gerographical diversity - Newquay to Newcastle and every where in between. We have always tried to do lettings through directly employed staff but as our managment portfolio grew this became increasingly less feasible. We have found using local agents on a let only basis to be a largely frustrating process - customer service experience for prospective tenants and increased voids for our clients. Around 18 months ago we started to advertise more lettings directly and book viewings with a Viewber and it has proved hugely beneficial for all concerned. We find the feedback far superior to that received from agents both in detail and timing, tenants get relevant info and we can deal directly with negotiations to secure lettings.
