Respectful Communication Policy
Our Commitment to Respectful Communication
At Viewber, people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re committed to creating a welcoming, professional and respectful environment for everyone who interacts with us, including our clients, members, colleagues and partners. We believe everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, courtesy and respect, whether communicating by email, live chat, telephone, video call, social media, messaging apps or in person.
Our zero-tolerance approach
We have a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, discrimination, threats and abusive behaviour, regardless of who it comes from or who it is directed towards.
This includes, but is not limited to
- Offensive, threatening, intimidating or discriminatory language or behaviour.
- Unwanted sexual comments, advances or inappropriate personal contact.
- Repeated unwanted messages, including through personal social media accounts or messaging apps.
- Bullying, aggressive behaviour or conduct intended to make someone feel uncomfortable, threatened or unsafe.
We recognise that situations can sometimes be frustrating and that people may have concerns or complaints. We will always welcome constructive feedback and aim to resolve issues fairly and professionally. Raising a complaint, challenging a decision or expressing dissatisfaction respectfully is never considered harassment or abuse.
Where unacceptable behaviour occurs, we may take appropriate and proportionate action. Depending on the circumstances, this could include ending a conversation, restricting communication, reviewing access to our services or referring serious matters to the appropriate authorities.
Something not quite right? Please tell us.
Respect works both ways, and we’re equally committed to ensuring our clients, suppliers and Members feel safe and respected when dealing with our team or anyone connected with our services. If you’ve experienced or witnessed behavior that has made you feel uncomfortable, disrespected or concerned, we want to hear from you. You don’t need to be certain that something amounts to harassment before raising it.
Please contact us through the complaint forms available on your Dashboard or by emailing people@viewber.co.uk and let us know that you would like to raise a concern about someone’s behavior. We will take concerns seriously, consider them fairly and sensitively, and handle information as confidentially as reasonably possible. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone raising a genuine concern in good faith.
Thank you for helping us make Viewber a safe, positive and respectful environment for everyone.
