On-Demand Property Appointments, Guaranteed: Amazon-Style Convenience

Getting a viewing, booking an inspection is usually a recipe for much back and forward negotiation with various parties.

Not any more….

New API integration from Viewber has streamlined how agents and managers book viewing and property visit appointments, guaranteeing there’s always space in the diary to please clients and that anyone booking can go on their own dashboard and it’s done – no ifs no buts, guaranteed with 24 hours’ notice. No backwards and forwards.

The launch is in response to a gap in the market, with younger home movers not receiving the ‘on demand’ level of service they’re used to in other industries.

Property lags in a world where Amazon has made it possible to find what you need, order it immediately and enjoy fast delivery in a frictionless transaction. This instant style of business has led to HSBC calling us the ‘impatient nation’.

No time to wait

This term used by the banking giant in 2021, when it questioned 2,000 UK adults. It found 49% of Brits thought the modern world has made them develop a ‘want it now’ attitude, while 38% confessed to feeling impatient in life.

Out of the top 30 instances that Brits have no patience for, buying and selling property was 18th on the list. More tellingly, almost every irritant involved waiting. For example, number 19 on the list was waiting for a text message or email to arrive.

While the HSBC research is five years old, a more recent report revealed our tolerance has not improved.

The B2C Buyer Experience Report 2026 reflected consumer behaviour in a more recent world. The report author, Invoca, measured how consumers experience AI and human assistance during high stakes purchase decisions.

Speed is of the essence

The research identified a huge gap between UK consumer expectations and what they actually experienced.

Headline findings included:

  • 53% expect a business to respond within one hour after they submit a form
  • Only 33% actually receive a response in that window
  • 79% will switch to a competitor that responds faster
  • 29% move on to a competitor rather than wait when the response is too slow
  • 71% will hang up a phone call after being put on hold for too long

What The B2C Buyer Experience Report 2026 makes clear is the direct correlation between a lack of speed and instant confirmation with future business. Leads won’t simply try again another time. They’ll move on to a more responsive company in order to progress their plans. That impatience will hurt slow and under-resourced teams.

Every request should be treated as a lead

In the current property market, every enquiry should be viewed as potential business. Of course, the booking of a valuation is a direct opportunity to convert a lead into an instruction.

But the viewing request? That could be a buyer who also has a property to sell. The landlord looking for a vacant property inspection? They might be ready to ditch self-management in favour of a professional paid-for service.

Make waiting a thing of the past

Having conducted more than a million appointments, working with agents, property managers and auctioneers every day, we know one of the biggest industry frustrations is not being able to offer availability that meets clients demand.

Customers don’t want hesitation, dithering or ‘let me get back to you’ when booking an appointment. There should be no awkward silences while some flicks through the pages of a paper diary or fervently click a mouse. If they can book their own appointment online, when it suits them, excellent. If they can’t, they want an agent who books an appointment for them on the spot or put it straight in their online diary – guaranteed.

Amazon has set the bar high. It has adjusted everyone’s customer service expectations. Order it. Get it. And more than likely, guaranteed next day too. The transaction is quick and the confirmation instant. And the service is always on.

Now you can consider Viewber the Amazon of the property world. We have taken the frictionless convenience of online shopping and applied it to ordering property visits, inspections and accompanied viewings.

For the first time ever, Viewber is offering property professionals on-demand appointments that are 100% guaranteed to be fulfilled, even if your own diary is full. The service stems from our new, direct API integration.

We’re increasing speed and certainly three ways:

1. Agents can think beyond their own staff’s availability

Our network comprises more than 5,000 Viewbers. They provide viewing, visit and inspection services across the UK, seven days a week. Evening and weekend appointments? We’ve got you covered, anywhere in the UK.

That’s an extra 5,000+ people in your team you can call on, so you can automatically book appointments without checking in-house diaries. For clients, the answer will always be ‘yes’. This instant gratification creates customer satisfaction, improves brand reputation and increases the likelihood they’ll place business with you.

2. Direct integration with CRMs

Our new API spells the end to manually logging into the Viewber dashboard or switching between software for time saving and improved simplicity. Viewber’s API is platform agnostic, so clients can integrate from any CRM, property management system or bespoke software, provided they have the development capability. We’ve already integrated with a wide range of systems, from large enterprise CRMs through to custom built platforms.

Property professionals can stay within their own CRM ecosystem and create appointments with Viewber. Depending on the integration, they can also retrieve reports, feedback and appointment information directly through the API. The Viewber dashboard will still be available, but we’ve taken a step out of the ordering process to make bookings quicker.

3. Offer direct bookings online

Offering self-service isn’t lazy. It’s a way to ensure no lead is lost and customer service performs around the clock. In fact, clients will expect the ability to go online and book an appointment without having to speak to an agent.

Professionals who use Viewber gain confidence that their on-demand, online booking service will sync with Viewber and appointments will always be fulfilled. No second guessing and no delays in delivering the instant service people expect.

Discover availability when it’s most required

If you need any more convincing that increased availability is vital to business success, consider these statistics from Street.co.uk. Half of viewing and valuation bookings happen outside office hours, and 22% of bookings happen on weekends, when offices are least likely to be staffed.

We’re here to explain more about Viewber’s new API and how you can reduce the waiting times for in-person appointments. Get in touch today for a demo.
